Mark Lawson
Founder, Clever Anchor
Mark Lawson is a technology and product strategy leader with 30+ years of experience building, managing, and modernizing software systems across business environments. His work sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, vendors, workflows, AI, automation, and product thinking.
Before founding Clever Anchor, Mark led software teams, managed product delivery, and built systems across industries including healthcare, manufacturing, accounting, and community-scale technology programs.
That experience shaped Clever Anchor's practical approach: technology strategy should not stop at recommendations. It should help leaders make decisions, align the people doing the work, and move toward systems that can actually be adopted and maintained.
Mark also serves as Director of Technology for Technologists of Color, where he supports technology strategy, programming, and ecosystem-building for Black technologists and entrepreneurs.
